Hi I have been lurking on this board for a while, but just signed up today.
We have been ttc for 1 year (15 cycles). After 5 months (7 cycles) we had the initial tests done. Turns out dh has a very low sperm count, we were referred to a fertility clinic this past winter and did our first ivf+icsi cycle in April. I got pregnant with a singleton, but found out at our 2nd scan at 9 weeks that the baby had died. It has now been a month since the m/c and I am just starting bcp to prepare for another ivf cycle. I am glad that there is this forum because there aren't many people in real life that understand. I am right now in a fight with my mil (our 3rd fight this year because of our ttc problem). She told me not to get emotional with our next cycle. I got upset because how can I do that. Then she had the nerve to compare her m/c that she had after getting pregnant on the bcp with my m/c. I was talking to my baby while it was still a growing egg in a follicle in my ovary. After trying for so long and going through so much how could I not be happy to finally see those 2 lines. I thought we were in the clear. My RE even told me after our first scan that since everything looked excellent that we had less then a 5% chance of m/c. That pisses me off too. I know now that if I ever do get pregnant again I can't even enjoy it because things can go from prefect to bad in a minute. I hate how this infertility has ruined my life and relationship with everyone. My parents are strict Catholic and don't like that we are doing ivf. My mom even told me that taking hormones is a sin so I don't even have support from them, and then one of my friends gets accidently pregnant just before our ivf cycle. She doesn't even want a baby, didn't even know the father for more then a few months, and can't even take care of her cat. Plus she purposely killed her last baby. It isn't fair that she gets to have another baby without working for it at all, and I have put in tons of money and effort, and pain and I have my baby taken away from me.
Sorry for the long vent, but I really needed to let it all out with people that will understand.
