Hello my name is Sarah. I'm almost 33 and my hubby is almost 35. I have a son who is biologically mine but not hubby and he will be 17 in march.

We have been TTY for 9+ years. I had tests to ensure ovulation in 2005 but stopped any further investigations due to work.
In 2011 I had cervix issues which are all clear now.

I had my first ds appt a week ago.
I have low hormones except I believe estradiol I don't know th results of that test taken last week. I have been told I don't have pcos after ultrasound and hormones tests.
I'm scheduled for hag on the 18th I hope that it gives us answers. I however have been dealing with chronic and constant bleeding. I'm on cd 11 but bleeding filling pads every 3 or so hours. Anyone else deal with this?

I'm glad to see this board is supportive.

Hi welcome, you poor thing. I'm sure irregular bleeding is a common sign of endometriosis. Which can only be diagnosed with a laparoscopy. I hope everything works out for you, I really don't wish this (TTC) pain on anyone x

Thanks cooch and I forgot to add that I have symptoms of endo as well. It was brushed off. Once hsg happens and all other tests are done I'm requesting the lap

When I had surgery for cervix issues I asked for. Lap at same time. One gyn was prepared to do it my primary wasn't :(. I'm no longer with them and at fs

It would save them more money just to do the lap in the first place. I had a sympathetic GP who I spoke to, explained about endo and was referred, after I was referred to FS. The thing was, I had complained about it in my 20s and they only ever gave me and ultrasound, which is useless at diagnosing endo. Turned out I had endo! However, my Lap also showed a blocked tube and typical NHS just left it, they didn't unblock. I may possibly have to travel to get it unblocked as no where near me (NHS or private) do the unblocking procedure. Plus I'll need to pay for it, still I'm hoping for my BFP soon, before then xx

My go told me I was too young to get endo yet I started menses at 10 years old and on bfp and prescribed meds(ponstan) before I was 14. He has since retracted that statement. I am hoping fs will do it. The dr I saw is very specialized in gyno surgery so there is hope

That's good about the fs. Imagine saying that about endo, it can hit at any age

Oh for sure re: endo. Told him esp since the first month off birth control when I ovulated it felt like someone was twisting my insides. Almost very month I had ovulation pain that often lasts 24 hrs and to the xtent other people would go to the emergency. I simply didn't go because I'm certain I know it's ovulation pain cause symptoms are there as well ECM, mid cycle etc.
