New to the boards. Just purchased Pre-Seed.

Hello everyone. I'm Natalie. My Fiance and I are TTC.

I purchased Pre-seed from Amazon the other day, and It arrived this morning within a day. Only thing that worried me and made me over-think as per, was the fact it didn't come in its box like shown on the picture. I got the syringes all packaged up, and the seal wasn't broken on the lubricant tube.
Am I being stupid?

I got some from Amazon the other day - it came in a box?! I guess as long as the applicator packs are sealed as is the foil seal on the top of the tube you should be OK?

I'll check where mine was dispatched from....give me 5 mins!! x

It was from All Day Pharmacy - I'm pretty sure you'll be OK if everything was sealed, maybe drop them a line to ask when it wasn't in a box? It could have something to do with keeping postage costs down? x

I emailed them and he replied with this message.

After many requests from our customers we flat pack the product to ensure
1st time delivery. The product is in a box which will not fit through a
letterbox. So as a lot of people are normally out during the day it
involves the customer having to go to the local delivery office to collect
it. People want this product ASAP so packing it flat ensures the product
can be delivered 1st time.

We also add a free pregnancy test to the packet.

We recently bought some Preseed and we love it! Have used it a couple of times and it . . . works well to make things slippy (blush) BTW how on earth to make the emoticons?!?!

Pre-seed worked for dh and I!!! We were ttc for 5 months with no success... On the 6th month, used pre-seed and got pregnant that cycle! Good luck!

I'm on my 4th month TTC so preseed hasn't been this miracle worker for us

I was recently at this sex shop (hate calling it that because it's more classy than that) that is locally owned in my town. I've been there numerous times and the owners (a seriously great couple) are very knowledgeable about the products.

I asked her what kind of lube is good for TTC and she suggested just using organic lube. She didn't talk too highly of preseed. Said it was very commercial.

So I bought some organic stuff (for only $15, same size bottle than preseed). I'm going to try that this month and see if it makes any difference.

I've also read you can use olive oil. . . Don't hold me to that. I can't remember where I read that.

I just felt SUPER weird when I think about putting those down there..I mean, I cook with those things...it just doesn't seem right! haha

I totally agree with you. Especially using egg whites.

I've read coconut oil is a great lubricant

We're using Preseed too and I've read so many great reviews I was really hoping we'd get it the first cycle we used it but no. Hopefully this cycle yields better results? Either way we like the feel and it's not very messy
