Hi all,

This is the first time I have ever posted anything like this, but I am hoping for some advice and insights...!

My hub and I have been TTC since last September, when I came off the pill. I had been on the pill for 12 years with no breaks, and it seems to be taking my body a bit of time to re-adjust. I seem to now be having cycles that are only about 15-19 days long but they are very irregular and it is quite difficult to know exactly what is happening!
Periods are very very light, and only last a couple of days.
BBT is also a bit erratic and temperature rises do not coincide with with OPK results - all negative.
Can I be having periods but not ovulating??
All thoughts gratefully received.

Thanks
AJ

Welcome AJ1!

It's definitely possible to bleed without having ovulated, but I'm not expert enough to answer your question beyond that. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will be along soon.

GL!!!! Wishing you lots of baby dust!

If your temps are rising you are probably ovulating. OPKs have a small window of when they will test positive. If you miss the LH surge you would never know. I've never used OPKs but it seems like a lot of people on here test in the late afternoon, or twice a day (morning and late afternoon).
