New Years Eve

Hi all, I was just wondering what you were all doing NYE? Being a single mum I'll be in on my own with my LO, who will be bed from about 7pm.

On a normal night this wouldn't bother me at all, but I'm absolutely dreading it, all I can think about is everyone else will be out at parties / pub etc and I'll be on my lonesome .

Is anyone else in this situation and how will you deal with it?

i'll be at home too... at midnight i'll raise a glass to myself... proud of what i've achieved this year nd contemplate what 2011 might bring.
its hard because i'm normally out celebratin... but that has changed now so i'll put a positive spin on it

I guess I'm lucky cos my dad runs a pub, and im staying with atm(I live with my mum normally, just come up 2 visit him over xmas) I'll be here nye and lily will have her same routine and go 2 bed at her usual time and then i'll go downstairs to enjoy the party, I take the baby monitor down with me and watch the lights all the time, so I know shes safe.

I'd still be just as happy if I was sitting at home with her though.. Least u'll get 2 bring in the new year with ur baby xx

I'll be home alone, without Lily Fridays is the day she stays with her dad, and i cant change it because i want her at home on the saturday night because its my dads fiftith birthday. So Ill properly be in bed early
However, New Year new start from me and Lily

I will be home alone with James too. Working all New Years so will be working til 4pm NYE, til 8pm NYD and then go onto nights from Sunday.

Oh no, poor you. I've decided I'm going to eat my own body weight in chinese food and start my diet New Years Day! x

Ill be alone with LO too! Except she doesnt sleep, so i doubt she will be in bed!

I was alone last year with LO aswell for NYE, and too be honest, its not that bad, its just like any other day really

I'm going to be on my own on NYE eve too, gonna be pretty pissed off all night knowing that my 'best' friend has invited our friend, friends boyfriend AND their LO to stay the night, without even thinking about asking me and Kacie when she knows how lonely I've been over christmas. She did invite me after I said something, but I'm not going out of principle lol.

I'm being a total dork and will be hanging out with my parents for NYE. Considering the sleep schedule, LO will likely still be up, too. I keep strange wake hours.

Probably gonna get some non-alcoholic bubbly, and go see the fireworks at the local New Years party. LO is so young right now, and the weather pretty severe... so don't want to risk trying to go to the public event, this year.

On that note, though, I'll probably be on BnB too, to wish you ladies a happy new year! (By Mountain Standard Time, anyways. )
