Newborn does not nap at all!!

Thanks for the replies. Today is just the same, he will close his eyes for literally 5 minutes before waking up screaming. He's not screaming continually though so we don't think he's uncomfortable, just plain grumpy. He soon stops if we hange how we are holding him / move around. But I can't keep this up once I am home on my own tomorrow, I need to be able to put him down at some point!

Do you think he would like a baby sling? I'm not experienced with them but a lot of ladies on here swear by them
