Hi!

I'm looking to get a city select double for new baby and my toddler to use. I'm probably not going to get the carrycot as the toddler seat won't fit with it. I also don't want baby to always be in the car seat on the pram so I was wondering if anyone knew of any universal type inserts I could use in one of the seats as I believe the seats are only suitable from 6 months plus.

I have this model and used the carry cot and toddler seat - what makes you think it doesn't go together?

I don't know of a seat insert ( I was looking before) I would just get the bassinet converter kit as it clips onto the seat frame

Summer Infant makes a cheap infant snuggle insert that seems pretty universal. It fit in my UppaBaby seat after my long guy outgrew his bassinet and my friend now uses it in her Britax stroller seat, and swing/bouncer. https://www.summerinfant.com/snuzzler?SKUID=450

Ah, I meant to say I thought you weren't able to have the carrycot with a toddler seat facing outwards? Are you able to use yours with the seat facing out? I just don't think my toddler would be happy facing in toward me.... He might surprise me though!

Oh I see no I have only done it facing inwards but he was okay with that. She moved out of her carrycot around 4 months as she was sitting up!

The thing with the inserts is unless they make the seat flat the baby still sits the same as a car seat. Under 3 months you want them laying on a flat surface, I couldn't find any inserts that would do that unfortunately.

Thank you. I need to go to a shop and try him in it forward facing. He may well be ok with it and then I can get the carrycot. I definitely want baby to be able to lie flat.

If not how old is your toddler? Could he use the glider board? My toddler loves it ( though it's not as easy to push long distances.

He's going to be 2 1/2 when baby arrives. I think I will get a glider board anyway but I have a feeling we will still need an extra seat as we do sometimes have to walk a fair distance and he's pretty titchy for his age so will probably need it. I went to mother are yesterday but they only had the three wheeler side by sides! Really want to try one out!

Same age gao as us and we get plenty of use out if the second chair. My toddler is teeny too!

I have a 2.5year gap and have the city jogger side by side which can have the carry cot attached and is forward facing
