next gyn apt

sorry im posting this in diff. sections.......
i am going to the gyn for my 6 month check up for my adenomyosis and well if im not preg i need to ask them to do all the test possable. i have insurance through my dads work and he may be loosing it so i need to get everything done asap.
we have been ntnp for about 4 months and trying for 2 months but nothing has happend yet and i think something is wrong. my bf and i have been togather for almost 3 yrs and havnt really used protection for most of the time so it kinda scares me. he wouldnt do a hormone test last time so hopefully he will do some stuff .............. what should i ask to have done. any special test because he usually asks me what i want done..........

Hi hun,
They will prob do your bloods first to check your ovulating and a SA for your partner. They may say you need to be TTC for at least a year though.

They don't really look into fertility issues unless you have been TTC for at least 12mths.
You can ask for blood work to be done, for a HSG dye test, SA and bloods on your partner. However since you have only been actively trying to conceive for 2mths (which isn't long) I would start charting, taking temps and using ovulation sticks to get to know your cycle and when you actually ovulate.

we have actually been trying for the whole 6 months but the last 2 months were BDing like every other day but im on cd 51 so.... but i only say ntnp because it wasnt every other day. i also only say 6 months because thats when we decided it wont bother us if i do get pg. and that was my last gyn apt. so i would say its been longer if that makes since

oh p.s this doc will basically do whatever i ask for. he does my blood pg. test with out me doing the 2 urine test in office first and he even said i need to try and get pg asap if i want kids so they can do my hyst.
