So the perfect.job for me has come up :happydance: its band 3 & the pay is 13-17k pa.. but its 18.5 hours a week.. soo how much would I actually get paid?
Bit confused as its part time but the salary must be full time?

Cx

the salary there is for full time. I'm a band 3 and for 30 hours a week get around £1000 a month after tax so I reckon you'd get around £600 take home?

eta - actually i'm on my 4th incrament so it'd be less than £600, prob more like £500.

worked it out, you'd get 6012 per year, so approx £500 a month but you would be under the tax bracket so atleast you wont need to pay income tax.

Not sure if I wna go for it now.. because its a hca in the community so ill be using petrol.. ah man lol

Cx

If its community NHS you would get a petrol allowance, so you fill out mileage form and get what you use back.
