Nicknames for your unborn :)

Okay girls,

It may sound silly and I hope I am not the only one, but I am wondering if anyone of you ladies had a "Nickname" for your unborn ... This was to save you from calling the baby and "it" all the time and actually had some form of name to go with your pregnancy and if so what made the name pop into your mind?

Or maybe it's just me lol.

Here's mine: Mine was nicknamed Squibo (Very random I know!)
Basically I started calling it my little Squid then one day my OH called it his Squibo and the name just stuck

Would be nice to know if any of you had nicknames xx

we call our baby "herbie". we do not know the gender yet!

We used to go by whatever fruit we were that week on the ticker, but we've kind of stuck with pumpkin/bumpkin now

I didn't want to call it just bump as that relates to your belly and not the miracle growing inside!
all our family and friends have took on the name too and ask us how our little flump is doing!!

We call him bump or bumpy. When OH lays down in bed with me before he leaves for work, he feels around for my belly and says "Where's that bump?"

Haha good names Isnt it funny though how you suddenly think of a name and it sticks until you find out the sex.

Bob! (not sure how it came about, just one of those 'what shall we call him for now, I know..bob' things) definitely stuck tho he's gonna be one confused bubba wen he comes out and has a new name! If only we cud choose one so easy..

Me and OH call her peanut, but our daughter has nicknamed her Hagrid, after her favourite Harry Potter character. She is insisting she will be called Hagrid when she's born - she'll be in for a shock! She doesn't seem to care that its a boys name, which is quite funny

Our first was Squirt,& when we found out he was a boy it was always 'Luke',which is his name,or 'Little monkey'

Ours are "Twinkies" I'll call Baby A, Ledger, because im certain he's a boy, and that will be his name. I call Baby B, B, or Girly. As i think she's a girl and we havent picked any girls names yet!
OH calls them whatever he feels like at the time, usually names thta go together like Starsky and Hutch, Bonnie and Clyde, Hansel and Gretel. You get the jist..

Ours have been named as the size they are when we found out we were expecting. Alex was Bean and this one is Bloob (as in blueberry). Although my MIL misread it and calls him Blob
