Night time bottle to sippy

My LO is 11 months. Everyone I know says they need to be off a bottle
By 12 months, personally I'm not too worried about it, but he does great with a sippy cup for his daytime milk so I'm wondering if at a year we should do nighttime milk in a sippy. How does it work. He has a bottle right before bed now. Would we change that to before bath? How did you do it?

Honestly, I'm not too worried about it. My pediatrician is pretty strict and he said keeping the bedtime bottle for now is fine. You could try moving the bottle earlier in your bedtime routine gradually. Maybe you introduce a story between the bottle and your LO going in the crib. And then you give him the bottle prior to his bath. Eventually the goal would be to eliminate the bottle and encourage him to drink milk with a cup at dinner.

Been wondering this as well. Need to work on changing his morning bottle to a sippy I think. Not sure how that will go down....

Bottles in the night are fine if he still needs the feed in the night. I just cut down the amount until it's not worth them waking for it

Bedtime bottle too - as PP said you can try moving it forward so there isn't the necessity to have a bottle but I am not worried about this at the moment either. Eddy has cows milk in his bottle on a night time. He'll drink it while I read his story and then he drifts to sleep. He's only just turned 1 year, and he's happy, sleeping through and drinks his milk with gusto......not going to mess with that until I have to!

Thanks everyone. I'm doing pretty good. I'm about to hit the 10 weeks left mark. Getting pretty nervous, sometimes excited but more nervous about the huge transition for me and Coen. But looking forward to newborn snuggles.
