Hello ladies.
For those who have had a baby already,
Is this normal?
for the last month, and especially the last week or so, I have to literally force myself to eat.
I actually start gagging sometimes.
I am just not hungry. I start feeling sick.
I know it's affecting me because sometimes I get lightheaded, see spots, and get shaky/weak (not dehydrated, I drink a gallon of water a day).
This is totally unlike me I think, because for the first two trimesters I was SOOOOO hungry, to to point I had stolen crackers off someone's desk at work when they weren't looking.
I never had morning sickness so I didn't have the typical food problems in early pregnancy.
I think yesterday I ate around 900-1000 calories if that. I know I need to eat more.
but I tried and just couldn't.
I have no hunger, food does not appeal to me at all.
Is this normal in the third trimester? Is she just squishing my stomach so I don't want any food?
I don't want to call the ward for this as her movement is really good and I'm not dehydrated. I'm not losing much weight, maybe 4 lbs in the last month rather than gaining, but I'm well within the weight range for my body size during pregnancy. My fundal height and everything else is right on target.
I know I may be rambling here, but I used to be an avid runner until like 6 months ago, and I can't run/jog or even WALK for more than 20 mins because of stupid SPD, so maybe lack of areobic exercise is making me not want to eat?
I still do like 40 minutes of stretching/yoga 3 times a week, and do light floor exercises. (push-ups and what not), but it's just a thought.
Any help or insight would be helpful.
I also don't want any bready foods, they are the worst. Any starch I can't stand right now.
