no confirmation letter but 1st scan 2moro!!

Cant believe it ladies!

My first midwife app was on 23rd og August. Brill

But because I was unsure of my dates, she faxed the request to the maternity ward with unknown dates stated on the paperwork.

I heard nothing and phoned last week as with having a ear, nose and throat virus I was over anxious! They said phone back this week, which I did today. They phoned mat unit to be told my scan is 2moro at half 2!

Im really excited now but was annoyed earlier as they insist they sent letter on 30th Aug, and the only address they have is this one as ive only just registered with the surgery!

Oh well rant over I just hope this is not a sign of things to happen in the future as with my insisting they call I would have missed my appointment all together!

I must relax, im seeing and hearing my bean 2moro, cant wait!

I'm waiting on news of a scan the doctors were supposed to fax last Thursday and no word yet

Hey lady im so excited for you. I have never received my letter of my scan either, when i called the hospital they said it was writtenon my notes on the day of my appointment but it wasnt as the midwife didnt have the scan diary with her so how could she of given me an appointment. Grrrrrr Never mind hope they improve their service for the rest of our pregnancy lol

Mine are just as bad. I had my first appointment to register on Friday afternoon and they didn't even turn up.! After a rant on the phone and taking a half day off work, I saw someone sat. I'm almost 14 weeks now and I just rang the antenatal until to see if they have fixed a date and they haven't even got my paperwork yet. I really hope this improves and it's so annoying.! Rant over- sorry

thanks ladies, im dead excited now but im going to be on edge till I had clear dates for next scan! I reckon im gonna make sure they book my next one into the system before I leave the hospital today, so there will be no waiting for letters.
