So this is my third time around, and I am not sick at all!! With my first 2 pregnancies I was sick as a dog from the moment I found out I was expecting, so I am worried cuz I feel GREAT!!! I know I shouldn't complain, it's just that I am so used to feeling really awful during the first trimester with my past pregnancies and since I haven't been to my doctors yet (they like to make people wait until their 8-10 weeks along) I am just feeling a little worried about it.:( The only symtoms I am feeling are being tired, a little light headed when I stand up, and bloating/crampy, but for the most part feel absolutely fine!!! Should I just count my blessings and be happy that I am not sick???

well, dont count your blessings yet!!! i didnt get really sick till i was 7 or 8 weeks. i too felt great up until that point. and now here i am, miserable!!! lol

And I didnt throw up ONCE. Yes I felt sick; but it was never in the morning and only when I felt hungry would it happen.
Apart from the growing belly and the continuous kicks I get from the baby, I wouldn't know I was pregnant. Other than the occasional pains here and there, but thats it.
Count your blessings... I did! x x x x

At this point I think I will count my blessings for sure!!! I wouldn't mind skipping that part of pregnancy!!!lol! :happydance:

vejables, you may be right that it is still a little early for it!! I am hoping that I will be lucky this time around!!! I'm sorry that you are feeling icky!!! You never know......I might be posting the exact opposite in a week or two, feeling miserable!!! Thanks for the input ladies.....I appreciate it!!

I felt completely fine too which worried me as i felt sooo ill with my first up until 14 weeks ! this time ive had minimal sickness and in general havent felt pregnant at all ! anyway ive had a scan and all if fine so i wouldnt count your blessings for now ! i did feel a bit more crap as the weeks went on but nothing in the early days !!

my first 2 pregnancy's where girls and I puked for 5 months. This one is a boy, no morning sickness at all.

Pumpkin, I have heard alot of women say that there's a different experience with each gender. Ie: girls make you sick, and boys dont....
Apparently, that's how alot of women can tell the sex of the baby before having it confirmed by scan!

Well last time with my son i was sick as anything right up til 14 weeks !! this time ive been totally fine !! so maybe a girl this time?! who knows! lol

That is very interesting because my first 2 pregancies were both girls, and believe me I knew I was pregnant before I took the test because I had instant nausia very early on!!!!! Maybe this one will be a boy!!! :baby:

man, mine must be a girl, because she's wreaking havoc!!! :-( headaches, nausea, mood swings, you name it, i have it!!! ewwww!!! hope you dont get it after all!!! i would be very happy for you! (i hope its a girl :) )

Ohhhhhhhh don't speak too soon.....I was so worried about not having any sickness norr any signs at all, then I had it so bad at 11wks onwards I ended up in hospital a few times and with many other complaints!!! Think yourself lucky!

I flew thru my last pregnancy without a hitch and had a girl, this time I was dog ill and had a boy! :hugs:x

NOTHING for me ... slight nausea 2 maybe 3 times ... THATS it!!

All ok here ;)

x

I'm having sever sickness as well and mine didn't really start until around 6 weeks, so don't speak too soon. If you don't have it count your blessings. It is no fun at all and better for you to feel your all than not. Each pregnancy is different as they say. I'm sure you'll be fine. And congrats!!!!

So, I finally got a tad bit icky over the weekend.......only when I got really hungry, so I am hoping that will be all!! I'll keep my fingers crossed!! Thanks girls for your thoughts on this topic!!!:baby:

PS~Beanie.......I've so been there, and I hope you feel better soon!!!

I was worried too because I had virtually no sickness but baby was fine and yes it was a boy! However, my colleague who was pregnant at the same time and was sick as a dog all day every day up to eight months also had a boy, so there goes that theory.

She had the last laugh in a way though as she had a really easy labour ,whereas mine was hell and ended up in an emergency c-section

I don't have any yet either... then again I'm only 4 weeks. I know it's coming, I had severe morning sickness with my son and was in and out of the hospital for IV's. So for now I'm eating all of my favorite foods and enjoying this while I can LOL.

I'm nearly 6 weeks and so far no sickness. I do occasionally feel sick, but it passes after I eat something.
I have extreme tiredness though, my energy levels have just dropped! I'm hoping that they will rise again in the second trimester as I hate this drained feeling.

I wasn't really sick until i was about 7 weeks. I just felt really sleepy and ate for england lol, Some days i'd feel sick but usually i wasn't sick. It wasn't until 7 weeks i got my sickness...So it might come along sometime in that period of pregnancy :)

Don't worry im sure all is fine, sounds like you feel normal for that stage anyway. I constantly felt physically sick when I was pregnant, was hoping it'd die down at the 12 week mark.. but no such luck. It did wear off for a while in my 2nd trimester but then it came back with a vengeance!!

I would say, think yourself lucky definitely.. the sickness/nausea was definitely the worse part of my pregnancy, only thing that really puts me off!!
