no period 10 weeks after c section... bf for only 3 weeks

How long does it take to get your period back? I only bf for about 3.5 weeks and my daughter is 10 weeks now. I'm getting a bit worried! Anyone else in the same boat?

It can take quite a while for it to come back. Every woman is different.

I bfed until my son was almost 20 months and I got my period back after 11 months.
But I know some women who didn't breastfeed at all and still it took 3-6 months to get their period back.

after my c-section, I bled for 6 weeks off and on...and than at 12 weeks I got my first period...really heavy....I exclusively formula fed from birth

I had to combi feed my LO until she was 15 months, period came back at 8 months. It can take ages for your body to return to normal cycles

It can vary for every women, just give it some time.

omg...I am so sorry I just re-read my post and I said I exclusively breastfed from birth...I meant to say I exclusively formula fed!!! sorry I must be more tired than I thought! I will fix that now!!
