No period, now ovulating?!

Hello! I posted a few days ago about my period disappearing after months of regular ones.....so, i'm testing negative on HPT's but got this on an OPK this morning.....i'm clearly ovulating right? How is that possible when I didn't have a period?!

Very clearly positive, congrats!
Maybe last time you got a positive opk, it was simply an lh surge and you didnt actually o with it? and since AF comes after o, and thats what causes af, your af simply didnt come as you hadnt o'd.

Either ovulating, or some women have a LH surge just before AF arrives. Do you have a link to your chart?

Thanks both. I didn't test for O last month as we're not technically trying at the moment, so I don't know whether I did or not....but I definitely did each month before that. Is it possible to just not O one month?! Still no AF so i'm presuming it's not to do with that.

yam30 - I don't actually chart so I can't link to it....sorry!

it is possible to not ovulate one month. some women still have AF in an anovulatory cycle, but some dont.
