My daughteR will be 5 weeks tomorrow and she's been great! I haven't lost much sleepp since her arrival but some nights, like tonight, she's really noisy while trying to sleep. She groans and moans. So dang cute but it's hard so us to sleep! Is this normal? Does your little one do this?

Totally normal. My DD snuffles. grunts, groans and 'sings' in her sleep. She was far noisier as a newborn than she is now (7.5 months).

I was wondering this myself. Turns out it's completely normal. She doesn't grunt as much anymore. :)

Normal and adorable! DH says our LO got it from me since I have a tendency to hum in my sleep. She will sleep and hum for 10-15 minutes at a time. If she's not humming she's pretty quiet...it all depends on where she's sleeping. If she happens to fall asleep in our arms or swing she is more prone to do it. Adjusting position will help, but you also run the risk of waking her up. Hope that help.

Both my children are noisy sleepers! My older one has full on conversations in her sleep!

Totally normal! My LO has me out of bed numerous times a night thinking he's awake because he's so noisy, everytime I go to check on him he's still sound asleep.

Yep, my son was a very noisy sleeper as a newborn, he'd grunt and snuffle all night.

My ds is the same, he is constantly grunting and snorting. DD never did this so it is all new to me.

YES oh my gosh. My son was so loud in his sleep! Grunting, groaning, sniffling, snoring, twitching and moving constantly. I'd had no idea before hand that newborns can be so loud without even crying!

Yes! My DS was a very big grunter when he was born. They actually took him away from us for the first 9 hours of his life because they thought something was wrong with him. :(
