Have just watched This Morning with a woman who had a vaginal prolapse and never knew because she thought it was normal as she had nothing to compare it to! Now, I'd just like to check when things feel normal again.
I'm generally fine, however if I squat down it does still hurt. Is this normal after 11 weeks? I asked at my 8 wk check with the midwife when things feel normal and she just said 'a while'.

it still hurts sometimes if i squat down too.i think its normal.

I feel fine.. now! I still feel kind of achey every so often though, kindof like adull ache pain if i've had a busy day

I have a vaginal prolapse, it only properly developed after about 3 months but I definitely knew about it, I can't imagine having one and not knowing

It's more than just feeling a little painful when squatting down?

Also, Noodles, if I remember rightly you're really into keeping fit? I'm wondering if it's to do with the lack of pelvic floor excersises I've done!

I don't have any pain at all, I just had this feeling almost like a tampon falling out and when I looked there were bulging bits that had never bulged before!

Oh ic -sounds quite worrying. It's fixable though right?

I feel fine now and have done for at least a month now. I did a few pelvic floor exercises for about a month, but don't remember to do them anymore.

It's fixable eventually. I started off upping the amount of pelvic floor exercises I did but it hasn't made a difference so I'm waiting for a referral to physio so hoping that might make a difference. Otherwise it's a small surgery when I'm finished having kids.

I've got bulgy bits, no pain or anything. Should I go to the docs? I've been doing extra pelvic floor excercies. My friend said she had the same and it went away and her dr told her it was normal and not to worry.

I felt really weird for a long time. I had a really easy birth and was very athletic beforehand, but it still took a while - I would say 2 months for me! I didn't do pelvic floor exercises before, but I have been doing them since because I want to be 100% back to normal before we TTC #2 soon!

xx

Scary stuff! I'm back to normal as far as I'm aware! Still get the odd pulsating sensation across my lower tum but Doc said that's completely normal at my post-natal check today.

I've been really crap with pelvic floor exc. and have done them about 8 times ever so I think I should try doing some daily! :s

Ooh sun when are you ttc nu 2 :)

I'm having problems with my stiches, I had an episiotomy and a 3rd degree tear and ive been going to physio, but my stiches just dont seem to be healing, I went to docs for my implant the other day and had them check, they said they still looked swollen and took a swab and suggested lavender baths. I got a phone call from doc to say I had an infection and they gave me some antibiotic cream. I have also been reffered to a surgeon but im crossing everything that i wont need it, i was also told i'd never have a natural birth again which was weird, but good to know id never have to go through all that and this again!

I know we're crazy LOL! We are TTC sometime in the next few months - the plan is end of April, but AF hasn't shown itself yet so I doubt it will work. Bun took quite a while to conceive, so we aren't actually expecting #2 to be that soon :)

xx

Emma that was on This Morning is on the other forum I am on - she is fantastic!!!

My bits went back to normal properly I think after about 2 months, they felt fine anyway, although we didn't do the deed til 4 months and is was 100% back to normal then.

I really don't know ... I still have problems holding my pee ... :haha:
