Hi just found out we're expecting :) very excited! Thought I'd introduce myself if you'll adopt me into this forum. I'm Caroline (23) and this will be no. Uno if it's a sticky baby (fingers crossed) we fell pregnant when I was 18 but wasn't meant to be and ended in a MC :( but now the timing is superb and we can't be happier.

Just had my first altercation with my heightened sense of smell, hubby came home from work and hugged my hello I immediately felt nauseous with his smell surrounding me and now I feel like I'm about to be sick at any moment, if this is an indication of how the pregnancy is going to go I'm in for a ride!
Anyone else have silly stories?
Looking forward to getting to know all of you!

That reminds me of when I was in the early stages of pregnancy, my partner came in from a 12 hour shift and I made him leave his shoes outside in the rain cuz the smell was making me gag! Congratulations btw :)

Honestly didn't think it would affect me this much! Bonkers! I dread to think what I'm going to be like as I go on but I will embrace it all :)

Pregnancy can be a hell of a rollercoaster but it's all worth it at the end :) I had sickness all the way through, could hardly eat, and went into labour 3 times but I'd stop do it again :D

Luckily for a lot of people the sickness etc stops around the second trimester, when the placenta takes over hormone production :)

Hi! My names Lisa I'm 19 baby number 2 cooking. :) congrats to you! && I'm 22w5d and I love my DH but i understand what you mean. He's a smoker and i quit almost a year and a half ago. Throughout the beginning of my pregnancy till even currently his breath makes me want to vomit

Oh you poor thing! Congratulations on no.2 for you!! How are you coping?! I've taken so many naps and I haven't even done much today! You must be some sort of wonder woman! Since my 2ww I've just been exhausted like never before! It's been so long since my other pregnancy that I feel like a newbie again so worrying a lot!

Argh, sorry my phone keypad keeps playing up! I was going to post...

Congratulations! I'm Clair, 20 and mum to 2.5 year old Jason and 1 year old Lily :flower:

I was so smell sensitive in both my pregnancies, my first was the worst, I was sick three times in public and almost sick in public loads from smelling fags, I was a smoker beforehand too! I still can't stand the smell!

Ahh haha hey Clair :) oh my I am with you on the cigarettes with both pregnancies the smell flawed me and I was a smoker too!
I'm worrying that I might be losing the little bean as all of my symptoms have vanished, just woke up today and all gone and got cramping :( going to be devastated if we lose it but only been trying for two months and I'm not generally this lucky! Just bringing back all the feelings from last pregnancy and wanting it so much more! We waited for everything to be perfect just feeling defeated! Thought we had our baby back after 5years... Hopefully we do but I'm not feeling confident :(

Hope everyone else is doing great and healthy though!!!

Thank you! My OH is very supportive and literally let me sleep whenever and.for however long I wanted/ felt the need to. In my first trimester I was sleeping anywhere from 10 to 14 hours a day. I was just so incredibly time he was so nice about it and would see how tired I was and would pretty much make me sleep he always said we'll if your tired then that's a good thing baby must be growing. Now more than 23 weeks and I hardly feel like I can sleep I'll go for maybe 6 hours if I'm lucky but for so it's been the deepest sleep I think I've ever gotten. Deffinately not wonder woman by any means. He's the SAHD he's my rock. && I wouldn't worry too much on the cramping as I had EXTREME cramping during week 6 and went to the ER because I couldn't even get out of the fetal position... turned out to be a uti. As it has been five uears since my last pregnancy I know what you mean about feeling like a newbie. With this one we we're actively trying and since DS1 we have had 2 MMC so every little thing scared meI was afraid that now that we were trying our little nbean wouldn't stick. Ended up buying a doppler to ease my mind. :hugs: also around weeks 11-14 I felt almost symptom less that's one of the big reasons I got the doppler

Hello Caroline! :flower:

Congratulations on your little one! My name is Sydney. I'm 17 years old and 16 weeks pregnant with my first.

I work next to a pretzel shop, so when you walk to the back of the building you can smell pretzels and cinnamon. I usually love the smell of it, but lately it's been the one thing that can make me sick. It makes the work day a huge struggle!

Hey! Im Sarah and im also 23, and im 20 weeks with our first baby girl :)
