Not getting notifications

Ever since the update to the site (months ago) I'm no longer getting email notifications for threads I'm watching and subscribed too. I doubled checked my email on my contact area, made sure I'm subscribed to the threads (primarily journals...) and nothing. Still not getting any notifications.

Help??

Have you hit 'watch thread' and selected 'and receive email notifications'?

I've just activated the option on this thread to test.

Yes, I did that. And I never got a notification that you responded to this thread. I just decided to check to see if anyone had responded.

I started a thread about this a while back. I don’t want email notifications, but I missed having new post alerts in the upper right corner when you log in. The only alerts that work are if somebody likes your post.

I now use the “watched threads” tab to keep up with my active threads. Of course you have to put in your profile settings to watch all threads you post in.
