Hi everyone, I'm not a regular poster but I am a regular lurker ;-)
My ds is 5.5 months now and is on 5 7oz bottles a day. Until recently he used to guzzle them down but the last few days he's not been at all interested in his morning feeds gets about halfway through and wonttake anymore.

Is this normal? He does get distracted easily but even when I feed him in a quiet place it's the same. I'm hoping to start weaning in 2 weeks when he's 6 months but could the lack of interest mean I should start now? He gets hungry in the evenings because of lack of morning milk.

What do you think? Thanks for Reading :-)

It is a battle to get the morning milk into my LO - no matter how quiet the house is! She'll take half and then fight. I have started giving her a 5 min rest in the middle and she seems to like that.

She is 5 months on Thurs and I don't want to wean yet and as long as she isn't unhappy I'm going to persevere.

I've found this recently with Evie too. She will only take about 4, maybe 5 oz at a push and yet she's been asleep all night and not been fed since about 8.30 the previous evening! What I've been trying to do is instead of feeding her straight away, changing her bum, giving her a little play time and generally just waiting till she starts grumbling for a feed. It sometimes works, but not always lol!

MY LO is like this, will not take a bottle until at least 1 hour after waking, sometimes he will totally refuse it.

I wish Dylan would start grumbling for a feed. He's given up on his afternoon and evening bottles. For the last few days he's had 5-7oz for his first two bottles in the morning, then 2 oz in the afternoon, and completely refused his bedtime bottle. He's pretty much going from lunchtime to the following morning with nothing. Usually he has 9oz for each of his four bottles.

I hope someone can suggest something to help us all!
