Ok, so I'm not lttc as me and hubby have been ntnp since March this year, but I don't know where to go from here and thought some of you ladies might be able to give me some advice. I have PCOS but still had quite regular cycles until this year, but suddenly they seem to be totally up in the air.

I'm not ovulating, don't know if I have at all this year, so ttc just seems so pointless as I'm not going to get pregnant if I'm not ovulating. I'm really trying to get things happening naturally; I've lost 2 stone since May, been taking agnus castus as well. I still have a couple of stone to lose, but its not shifting as fast as I want it too and I just really want to start trying for a baby but its like my body is just forcing us to wait and I don't know how long for.

I don't know if things are going to sort themselves out naturally, as I'm lighter than I've been in the last 2 years so my AF should be regular by now but its not. I think the next step for us is to get clomid, but I don't know what the doctor will say as he might just send us away and say come back when you've been trying for a year (even though I'm not ovulating at all) and I know he'll just say oh trying losing more weight (even though that doesn't seem to be helping at all).

I just don't know where to go from here.

Hi Luluw, I have pcos and have not ovulated this year at all on my own, which is why my GP started me on clomid.. it may be worth talking to your GP about this. How do you know you are not ovulating? OPK's and ovulation predictor kits are not really very accurate when it comes to people with pcos, Are you taking your temps, if not I would def recommend it as it can really help you understand your body, especially if you do start on the clomid.

Good luck, hope you get things sorted soon
