Not returning to work after Mat leave..

I don't want to return to my job when my maternity leave ends.
How do I go about doing it?
Do I have to pay my SMP back?!
Do I have to work for a certain about a weeks or can I just not go back?

Your help would be very much appreciated!!

You only have to pay any SMP back if you recieved over what the government give you.
So if you were only paid 90% for the first 6 weeks and then the statutory weekly pay then you will not need to pay anything back.

You don't need to go back to work - you will still have holiday entitlement that you would have accumulated from April (or whenever your holiday pay was) so you are still entitled to that holiday and pay
