I tested positive on 3 different pregnancy tests on the 28th October.. then last Sunday I started bleeding went up to A&E but they couldn’t refer me to the early pregnancy team because I was 2 days off being 6 weeks pregnant.
I have a MRI tomorrow with contrast due to a suspected brain tumour. I wanted to know if I am pregnant or if I have miscarried or if I’ve not been pregnant at all and they were false positives, so I’ve booked myself in for a private scan today to see what’s what.

I’m so confused and lost at the moment. Never had this problem with the last two pregnancies so I’m clueless as to what is normal and what isn’t at this point.
Don’t feel very supported and just feel like I’ve been left to sort it all myself.

I’m so sorry. It must be a very confusing time. I hope your ultrasound gives you clarity and that your MRI is clear.

its hard cause theres not much they can do before 6weeks... all they could do is blood tests every 48hrs if they allow it. they generally say 6 weeks i think because at that point it can be seen on a scan. any update ?

Thanks ladies..
So yesterday they couldn’t get to where they needed to see because I’ve got a really tilted uterus the woman was so apologetic bless her but it’s not her fault. So didn’t really get answers yesterday but it was worth the chance.
Going for my MRI today as I can’t keep cancelling, I need to have it done. I’m up at the EPAU on Monday so will see if they can manage to see round the uterus then so things can be confirmed for me on wether I’ve miscarried or not.

Sucks youve stil not had answers. Did they not offer to do a blood test to check your HCG levels ?

Ive got an appointment on Monday for a scan with the EPAU I presume they may take bloods then but I’m not sure. i just hope they can see the part of my uterus that was out of view on yesterdays scan. I guess my panic the other day was the MRI today and just wanted to get answers before my MRI so I knew for sure what was happening before going for that. The private scan yesterday gave me the option to get it done quicker than the wait with EPAU with the timing of the MRI if that makes sense x

I guess il have to wait and see what happens Monday and hope the MRI goes ok today.

Ah sorry i misread i didnt realise ur scan was a private one. Hopefully you will get answers soon. Have you done another test?

Sorry for delayed reply been so busy.. had scans today and blood tests, been told I have a fluid sac but it’s where the scar of my uterus is from when I had C-sections with my previous children.

They said A. I could have been pregnant and miscarried and some debris is left behind in that area of the scar.
B. I have an ectopic pregnancy
C. I’m pregnant and too early to see anything on scan but worried about the position of the implanting being on my c-section scar..

Had my MRI last week and should find out in a couple of weeks the results for that.

Back at hospital on Wednesday for more bloods and another scan but this time with the consultant.

The ladies at the early pregnancy clinic were all so lovely and helpful.
