Not sure if I have felt movement yet :(

Hello ladies,

I am 19 weeks tomorrow and this is baby # 4. I am not sure if I have felt any movement at all yet with this baby. I think sometimes maybe I have but then I think it could just be trapped wind!!

I already have 3 boys and my youngest is 8 months old. I felt movement quite early in the pregnancy with him but I just feel that maybe because I am so busy then I may just miss them.

I have mentioned it to my husband but he just looks at me as if I am daft

I have my scan in 2 weeks time and I am petrified of going and there being no heartbeat I feel like a neurotic first time mum! (No offence intended to any lovely first time mums out there

Has anyone else not felt their baby move until now?

Will that be your first scan? Is it possible you have an anterior placenta? I have read many stories about that and women saying they don't feel the early subtle movements. I have an anterior placenta but am not quite as far along as you and I am wondering how this will be different from baby #1. I am sure everything is fine though.

im 19 weeks today hun and ive not felt a thing.
some time if i lay on my tum i feel sound od like a heart beat. o i dont know.
this is my 1st baby hun so i cant offer advice.
ive got my scan 12 days time so i can feel your anxiouty

This is my second and I RARELY feel movement, maybe once or twice a week lately. But, my last scan to check my placenta showed it was still low and towards the front...they said that can 'cushion' movements since the baby is still low. Is it possible your placenta is acting as a cushion as well? I also agree that you may just not notice it because you are busy...esspecially with other kids to look after...I get that way with my daughter and probably miss things as well. I am sure everything is fine for you and hope you start getting those solid kicks soon
