Hey ladies,
so two weeks ago this tuesday we had a D&C because no baby was developing. We were heartbroken, but we also want to try again as I have endometriosis and we want another child before it gets to bad. I have tried taking opks, but to be honest, I have no idea what I am doing. I never had to do this for either of my other two pregnancies, since my cycle is so predictable. I know you can ovulate two weeks after a D&C, but I have no idea if I have or not. I stopped bleeding about a week and a half ago. the opks that I have taken have been confusing. The dollar tree ones are always positive (test line darker than control) but the clearblue and wondfo ones have been negative (two lines, but test is lighter). the clearblue i took yesterday looked as dark as the control line, but not darker. Any ideas or help?
Thanks!

So sorry for your loss. As for the opks they can be a little confusing after a mc. Did you or your doc test your HCG levels to make sure they dropped? Left over HCG can make an opk stick seem positive when it is not because the chemicals are so similar. Do you have any other signs that O is coming or do you temp? That is the only way I have been able to see if I was Oing this month because I still had positive pregnancy test almost 4 weeks after my D&C. Good luck!

I had the same confusion as well it took 7 weeks for the HCG levels in my body to zero. From what my doctor told me ur body wont ovulate until you HCG levels have zeroed because you body still thinks it pregant and wont release an egg. As far as the OPKs they are super confusing after a D&C you should have your HCG levels checked before doing the OPKs

Are your hormone levels back to normal? May be try the Clear Blue Digital Advanced, since they have the smiley face and you don't need to interprit how dark or how light the line is.
