Not sure where to post - Help needed!!

Hi Ladies,

I have returned to you as i am starting to go crazy.

I was TTC for almost 5 years until DH & I split a few months back. When we split I was in the Down Reg stage of IVF just about to move onto GonalF.

I stopped the nasal spray and I had a normal period about 10 days later than usual but I was told this could happen.

I have since returned to the BCP as my periods were always a lot shoter and less painful when I was on it. This is my first cycle back on the BCP and I am currently on CD19 and I am still bleeding, and it keeps changing between new and old blood - sorry tmi!! This can't be normal can it?? I just wondered if anyone had any ideas about this before i go kicking and screaming to my GP!!!

Sorry I cant help babe, but all I can say is that the down regging mimicks the menopause, and those symptoms sound like it to me as my MIL is going through it and used to bleed for weeks then stop, and be heavy then not etc. Think it will just take a while for your body to get back to normal. Hope ur OK after the split and best of luck to you x x x x

I had that the first time I went started BCP so it can happen, I would give it a few more days and see if it settles then maybe go to the GP, but go to the GP sooner if it gets heavier or is heavy now.
