November due date?

It's weird I don't feel huge but it feels more tight and stretched and heavy I've gained over 30lbs Maybe 33 at this point I can't imagine gaining more than 35 my goodness I don't know how I did it last time I've been such a baby this trimester I feel like it was easier 4 years ago and im still young but I think it shows the older you get the harder it can be on your body!

Due Nov 16th with a little girl. I'm a ftm and this all seems so surreal. I'm trying to stay at work until November 11th and everyone is already getting ready to say goodbye. I'm so nervous/scared/excited for what the future holds. I am praying I have a healthy baby girl and no troubles with labor and delivery

Welcome! everything should be okay I'm sure you and baby will be in good hands! I know it's scarey and exciting the first time around but it will be amazing too!

so tonight I've been timing my contractions I'm sure it's just false labor but I've had two hours with about an hour break inbetween of contractions so I'm wondering if this girl is going to come sooner than the 2 weeks I was thinking which would seem too early. im going to shower then relax in bed but if I get a third set of contractions I'll have to call the on call. they aren't getting more painful or strong they started off strong and painful then less painful the sometimes back pain came with some I've had like 4 or 5 each hour hmmm who knows

Oh wow, how are you feeling?! Hope the contractions have died down and you're feeling ok. Bet you must be both nervous and excited!

I feel exactly the way you do, so heavy and tight. I was more soft and rounded with the girls but this one feels huge and weighty despite the fact I look very neat! I'm so done with feeling this way- although in no way ready for baby to come. Doesn't help that DH is away at the moment and DD2 has been poorly all weekend :nope:

Lucasmum, thanks for explaining about your diabetes. I think my friend has been a bit spooked by people and is expecting a difficult pregnancy but her diabetes is managed well and she is, on the whole, very healthy. I was tested for GD with DD2 and this one, only because both my girls were large (9lb7 and 9lb), but given the all clear.

Hope the rest of you November ladies are feeling ok today! Last stretch for us now, time to start nesting and resting. :coffee:

Hope nobody minds me jumping in? November 13th for me. But since my ds birthday is the 10th I'm hoping to go a little earlier like I did with my daughter. Can't believe that if I go early again that's only 4 weeks away. Really looking forward to meeting our new little man :)

Well at my doctors appointment today it turned out that my cervix is shortened to 25mm and already slightly open..
I'm on pelvic rest now and have to go in next week to remeasure.
I hope it won't progress any further and she stays put for at least another 5 weeks! So yeah i guess she may not make it until december after all like i originally thought she would..

Welcome ladies eho just joined!

not super chatty to day as I caught the cold and cough dh and ds have so u feel like a bus hit me super fatigued worn out cough and cold yuck I hope I can shake this before baby decides to come!

my contractions started earlier today they have to be BH as I wasn't bothered when I went to bed all night so I think my body is just upping the BH to prepare for this princess to arrive.

will touch base later when I'm feeling better hope all are healthy and well!

Hi,

I'm also due November - due date is 16th. I am also going to have a C-Section so anywhere from around the 9th. Although I've been having growth scans due to having a small baby previously. I had one last week and they said he hadn't grown as much so I have to go back in two weeks to check again.

This will be my third baby (and third boy). This will be our last - I have asked that they sterilise me this time.

I'm 33 weeks today and cannot believe how quick it has gone. Although I can't wait to meet the little guy, my second has just started school so I'm enjoying the kid free peace and quiet.

Hi, I'm due 18th, c section around 11th with my third and last too!

Well, probably the last!! OH only wants three, I've struggled massively with this pregnancy, the previous two births haven't gone well so would worry about pushing my body too much and I'm fast approaching 40! I'd love four though

Hope your LO has grown a bit, what weights were your others? Mine were 9lb7.5 and 9lb so not worried about the weight of this one!

Wana how old are your two boys? nice to have quiet time especially when pregnant! my son is 3 and goes to preschool just. couple half days a week so it's nice to be able to get things done or just relax!

cupcake hope your little one stays in longer!

I'm so excited to have gotten to 34 weeks yesterday now counting down til 36 weeks so I'll only be a month away from my dd! eek! this cough I have is that burning chest gunny type cough day two if I'm still sick I'll see my regular dr next Monday normally ide wait a couple weeks but since I'm pregnant I figure I should be safe than sorry plus I've read colds usually just last about a week anyway.

Mary my husband and sister also have Nov birthdays it is nice having days between!

Sarah I hope your dd2 is feeling better now!

Liles congrats to the new addition in your family glad the baby was healthy and okay! and welcome and congrats to your soon to be bundle of joy!

baby bump congrats to your soon to be bundle as well we are all so close to meeting our babies so excited!

This is probably my last as well. My husband and I agreed on 2 children. We will both be 40 next near and I'm not a fan of being pregnant. Yet the idea of getting my tubes tied doesn't appeal to me. And he's not signing up for a vasectomy. So... we'd better not have any problems with birth control. But the truth is that if it happened in a couple of years, I don't think I'd mind.

Right now I'm counting down each and every day until my due date (+2 weeks; first was 12 days late). Sleeping is so uncomfortable. Moving is uncomfortable. I'm so distracted at work. I'm getting tired of being so large and restricted. etc.

Not that I'm looking forward to the fourth trimester. My first was a high needs infant. So I'm preparing myself for the crying and no sleep. And praying nursing goes better. Maternity leave will only be 12 weeks max with 6 of them working part time from home. It will go by so fast.

I've wondering about labor and delivery. My first was so textbook and without complication. No mess either because my water never broke. Not sure if this little boy will make me wait as long or come into the world in such an orderly fashion. Probably not.

She's better now, thanks Almost! She gets so fed up at home and was itching to get back to nursery, they have a 48hr rule so you can't go back until 2 days after the last bout of vommiting.

Hubby is back from his business trip too so did the school runs today to give me a break from walking. It's 3 miles a day (3 trips to a school half a mile away) which isn't too far but some days it's really hard with my spd. Parking is not possible, I'd end up parking almost as far away as I live!

Sorry you're still feeling sick Almost, drink lots of water and try to rest (like that's possible when you're pregnant with small children!).

Only three days until we're in October ladies and then we can say 'next month...' ! :happydance:

Ahh I know Sarah i can't wait for the next month to roll around! my next obgyn appt feels like forever away it's next Friday my last one was last Tuesday I think so it's such a long wait! atleast it will be weekly appts after that. I also go in for my strep b test next Friday not looking forward to that but maybe the dr will my cervix and we can see if anything is happening! with ds I never dilated on my own which is why I was induced days after my due date I'm worried that might be the case again.

this is my last baby as well we had to do a fresh ivf icsi cycle for ds and then this baby girl was our last frozen embryo the other sadly didn't make it and we only got two. we are financially and physically and emotionally done with all of the ivf and dh only wanted two kiddos anyhow I might end up wanted a third but let's hope not for the sake of our marriage!

Sara glad your daughter is better now!

Nikko sorry your so comfortable I hear you the sleeping at night is the worst for me tossing and turning on each side constantly!

I didn't realise you'd had IVF, that must really take its toll on you emotionally. :flower:

I know of several people who were induced with their first but not with subsequent babies, I think your body remembers what to do the second time! Fingers crossed you won't need to be induced again. Do you guys have strep b tests as standard over there? We don't, although I had a suspected infection last week when I had check up and she sent a swab to be tested. Have heard nothing in the ten days since I had it so assuming all is fine. I don't see anyone now until my consultant appt in two weeks- hoping to find out c section date then!

Starting to feel a bit more prepared now, we've got loads of baby stuff down from the loft and I've washed all the cot bedding, seat covers and unisex sleep suits. The nursery is starting to look like a babies room instead of the dumping ground it used to be! Need to buy nappies for baby and breast pads/sanitary towels for me. Then it's time to start packing my hospital bag I reckon!!

yes we have to get the strep b test at 35 weeks so next Friday I get to have that exciting swab haha not looking forward to it at all!

that's good to hear about the woman you know not needing induction second go around. I also need to get diapers for baby!

I can think of at least four people who were induced first time round but not second time. One was early with her second, two only went a few days over. Can't remember about the fourth! But I can't think of anyone who was induced twice. Don't give up hope!!

Hope you're feeling a bit better today. I'm in bed with a cuppa while DH takes the girls to school :coffee:
