About to go shopping and just wondering what size nursing bra to buy do you go for your normal size or a size larger as breasts will be bigger?

Interesting. I thought you'd wait til near the end and get measured! Don't fancy going bra shopping when I'm nearly due though.

I bought two sizes - my normal and a larger. The larger one worked out for the beginning of breastfeeding (first 3-6 months) as my boobs doubled in size when I was engorged. Then after about 6 months I went back down to my normal size. I bought the two initially but purchased more as I discovered what sizes I needed more of and when.

If you go to a specialist place from 36/37 weeks, they will measure you and take into account that you'll get bigger in that department after baby is born. I'm definitely going to get measured by someone qualified specifically in maternity wear - well worth it to get the right size and to have the correct support.
