I am CD2 now. Also, apologies if this is TMI but this is like the worst period I have had in a really long time. So heavy, terrible symptoms (bloating, bitchy mood (sorry hubby), breakouts). Trying not to focus on it but feels very weird. Mirena! Someone has really got to come up with a better contraception method not involving hormones (and ideally for men).

Hey just though I’d mention I am against using any BC with hormones because of the way they make me feel! The only thing I found that I trust and LOVED was ParaGard which is a Copper IUD with ZERO hormones. I had it for over 3 years and with no backup BC and it was great!! There are a few side effects some people prefer to avoid (heavy more painful periods) but mine were already bad and were actually better once I got the IUD.

A little late joining, but I have been stalking this thread since yesterday.


My periods are irregular so I haven't had one since 6/9. For August I took clomid for 5 days then a trigger shot on the 14th and an IUI on the 15th & 16th of this month. So I am calculating myself 11dpo, which I still doubt myself on (any clarification from you guys is helpful)

I tested yesterday with a bfn. I was very sad about it until I found this thread and now have a little hope it was too soon to test.

Congrats to those who have had a bfp & good luck to those still waiting to test.

I think my spotting has started well only a tiny smear on tp but i knew it. Af should now be here tonight or tmrw, Will be on break now from ttc for couple months or until my surgery but will be back to check on you ladies & i hope to see you all get your bfp very soon x

Sorry cutie af got me too today. Anyway i got a feeling you'll all have your bfp when i get back to ttc so i'l be back here rooting for u all in couple weeks. On my break now for couple cycles

I tried copper iud for 2/3 months & boy never had periods so heavy as with the iud in, mine are usually lighter. I've always been on mini pill the one that just thickens cm but doesn't stop ovulation etc & been ok with it even coming off it conceived straight away so loved it. Only thing is the femulen mini pill i was on has been discontinued so dunno what i would choose in futire hopefully they have an alternative

Hey ladies hope you all are doing good! Welcome to the new ladies on the board... I am now on CD 4 so tommorow I will start my femara, I'm hoping it makes me ovulate sooner but clomid didn't so we shall see. Here's to a new month and new hope! I have a feeling some of us will be getting our BFPs this month!

Abbey - yes, agreed - I thought about the copper IUD but really don't want the heavy periods, mine were just regular at the start but I've really heard some horror stories. Anyway, what's done is done now - I just hope that I can get back to normal soon!

Feeling much better today, not so many bad side effects. Started temping as well so I'll be interested to see how that goes this cycle. I think my Femaprin comes today too so fingers crossed that does the trick!

Long weekend here in the US so enjoy it everyone if you are over here! Gonna start my OPKs probably at cycle day 13 which is a week from Monday.

Well I may be joining you ladies in the September thread - got another blazing BFN this morning and now I'm spotting. Extra bummed about that because the last few cycles I've had have been spot free with long healthy luteal phases. So everything is outta whack since my chemical!

I'm soooo bummed. I thought since I got pregnant right away last month it would be easy again this month.

Are you gals going to a september thread or staying on here for next month? I am set to O around our 4 year anniversary so that should be fun at least

I will stick around too! Although I still haven't seen AF. This is the longest luteal phase I've ever had, assuming I actually ovulated. Light brown spotting has stopped, no AF.

I'm so annoyed because I'm almost positive I'm not pregnant but I really want to start the next cycle. My body is playing a cruel trick! I haven't spotted in a very long time, so initially I got excited about possible implantation bleeding. I won't test until I'm very late.

Anyone have experience with cycles after chemicals??

I'm wondering how normal it is to have a long luteal phase, as opposed to just a long cycle from ovulating late..

I did ovulate that month but it was delayed. My cycle moved from 28 to 33 days after that

I ovulated on time, CD 15. And yet here I am at a luteal phase of 14, which is the longest I've ever had. Testing BFNs. With light spotting gone, yet no AF. This limbo is a cruel form of TTC torture.

coucou - If AF isn't here in a week, I'll probably test. But I can't look at another BFN so I'm not going to bother. Weird thing is my bbs aren't sore anymore and still no AF. No spotting either. Still a ton of other symptoms though!
