I've had a hard time pin pointing which day to actually say "this was O" for counting purposes.
I wanted to ask... when you get your positive OPK that is supposed to be positive for the first time before Ov, it's up to 24 hours before O right? Do you assume it happens the following day? So the first post O day is 2 days after positive OPK?
And if you ever feel Ov pain (which I definitely do almost consistently on day 11 of my 25 day cycles.) I usually assume my ov happens on day 12, and my temp tends to rise on day 13. But I'm not sure. Not 100% of the time, but more often than not.
I just want to make sure I'm timing things as best as possible to increase the chances of conceiving.
Friday I had pretty severe O pain for about 5 hours. Once you feel that pain, is it "too late" in terms of doing it before O happens?
Or does the pain come before O? The pain sure doesn't help for the turn on factor. LOL. But I know that's what the pain is, because I get it every month, about an inch in from my hip bone and it switches sides (but only one side per month.)
Thanks for indulging this board newbie. Any help would be appreciated.
