O/T but 100% potty trained, success!!

My son has been potty trained during the daytime for about 6 months now. We had so much going on at the time and he had already accomplished so much with not needing diapers at all until bed that I did't push the nighttime diaper issue. Well finally my husband sat down and kinda told me that it was time to nip it in the butt. my son is really smart, he has never had accidents during the day and he thought jaden was ready. So In about a weeks time we nixxed the sippee cups and just started giving him regular cups with a straw, then we eliminated fluid intake the last hour to an hour and a half before bedtime and voila!!! No more diapers!!! My husband was right, I had just not even thought about it lately as I've had so much on my mind. The first 2 nights he had dry diapers and every night since he has slept in his underwear, tonight will be a full week. He has not even once wet the bed since we started, that boy is so smart. We let him take his time and don't push things on him and he just ends up doing it all on his own

Now when baby comes we will not have to worry about 2 lil ones in diapers as mama's bubba is officially a big boy

I on the other hand will have 2 in diapers... my son will just be turning 2 when the next baby arrives.

I will have four under 5 in jan, so i will also have two in nappies (as i did with my irst 2!!) but my four year old has been dry in the day since he was barely two, but i cannot get him dry in the night. We tried star charts, waking him to go, limiting fluids BUT HE JUST DOES NOT WAKE UP ARGHHHHHHHHH!!! so if we dont put pull ups on him, his bed is soked through every night. Well done you for overcoming this hurdle!!! x x x

I'm dreading potty training this new one, my eldest was the most difficult and the others just copied him. With having 4 in 4 years they learnt from each other and the younger 3 were all dry day and night before they were 2. Just got a feeling I am going to pay for them being so easy now with this one...

We'll have two in diapers as when this little one's born my little guy will be only 18 months old.
