Obaby Zoom - advice please!

Hi!

Currently in the midde of a long and frustrated hunt for the best double buggy! I really like the look of the OBaby Zoom; I already have a Maxi Cosi carseat which the Zoom takes, and I also like that I can have the carrycot facing me and my son can sit at the front facing outwards, as he loves to be able to see everything.

My only problem is that I don't drive and use buses all the time. I haven't been able to see the Zoom in-store anywhere and I don't know if it'll fit on a bus!

If anyone has an Obaby Zoom and knows if it will fit on a bus please let me know! Alternatively, if anyone knows of a double buggy suitable for a newborn and 24 month old that will fit on a bus, I'm open to suggestions!

I have had a look - I really doubt it will fit on a bus. That's why I ended up with the peach, when I looked at the zoom and the BJ city select they were really long and I just wasn't convinced they would fit. The peach does fit pretty well on the bus, even the hopper ones, although it's a bit of a pain if there's anyone else with a pushchair on already. But the seats on the peach are really small, so you'd need to check if your LO fits into them. Maybe the Pear? It's heavier, but the seats are bigger.

I saw an Obaby Zoom in town yesterday and OMG it's the pushchair equivalent of a bendy bus, it was really long! Very much doubt it would fit on any public transport.

i have the obaby zoom and like yourself i dotn drive so i either walk or get the bus. With the two car seats it fits comfortably on a bus, i havent ever tried it with the carry cot and a seperate seat as i have twin girls, but i would imagine it would as the carrycot faces you and the other seats arent as long and would face out. I have however got into taxis big black cabs or 6 seaters) with both carrycots on, you do have to get in first though but its quite easy to handle and such a good pram, when i went to my first baby group everyone said how much they liked the zoom.
