Sorry, just had to pop in. All our 2009 Bumpkins are soon to be 1 and I'm getting all nostalgic again 'this time last year . . . ' kind of thing!

Aww Kte, I know the feeling ALL too well!
I had my first daughter in November 2008 and when she turned one, I was reminiscing for at least a month before her 1st birthday.
The memories of preparing the nursery, awaiting your baby's arrival during those last few weeks of pregnancy, going through the labour/delivery... and seeing your baby's beautiful face for the first time will last forever!
I am so excited to do it again, for one final time. And it's almost surreal this time, since I'm going through it almost the same time of year, yet AGAIN, as I did the first time!
It's so amazing!

I can't wait to officially join this thread either! Technically Im already a parent, but my daughter was born in November so I don't belong here just yet. SOON though,... SOON!

And it's true, first babies often do go over. But then again, second babies can too!

helllooooo!!! thought I'd start off this thread
Luca is 3 days old and I am in absolute awe, the first few days have gone past in a blur. I'm so glad we decided on one more after almost 9 years. Feeding is going well although my nipples are a tad on the sore side from my little Monster not bothering to open wide atm. I love that I'm able to take a step back and enjoy the first weeks with a wee bit of experience behind me.
I blubbed tonight when I read this bit of a poem out to dh. This is just how i feel this time around as I enjoy my last baby.

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
for children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.
