OH has had a lump and it is getting bigger and hurting!!!!!!!

I am so upset, as OH went to the doctor yesterday as he found a lump in his groin... we first thought one of his Balls might have shifted but they are both down there...

The doctor said it can be one of two things

1. It could just be a muscle or a gland that is swollen and unhappy
2. It could be one of his tubes leading to his testicles that is blocked...

O.k so one thing not to tell OH as he was freaking out, now my wife is working and now my body packs up.... now we have in the past had OH sperm tested and it was very low, but he was on injections and 3months later in 2006 we got our it has been 2yaers now since...

Why if if isn't the one thing it is another....

oh hunni, i'm so sorry. is your hubby ok? how quick before they get it all checked and sorted?
i'm sure regardless of the outcome there is a solution.

Could it be a hernia chick? If he is quite active then they can flair up?
I only say because DH got a large lump that was painful when he started playing footie and doc said hernia but it went down again?

Thanks hun, i phoned the doc and he confirmed the scans for me it is a HERNIA...... as husband works with heavy equipment and things, so not heavy lifting for a while....

Thanks girls, as he doesn't have a medical aid so it needs to stay there for now......



Question could a hernia have any effect on us TTC?????????

Shame hun, my oh had a hernia in May 2006. Shame he was in lots of pain. He did have to have an operation and it took a while to heal so he wont be able to carry heavy things. The funniest thing was because of where they operated a few days later his penis turned blue with bruising. it wasnt funny then but shame he was so scared!
