Oh' MY any ideas?

But it can make it more difficult for the swimmers to get through because it's so thick and I think can change the PH level of your CM.

I thought this too, and decided to google something and found this off some medical site asking the same question:

It's unlikely that yeast infections are preventing you directly from conceiving as medical opinion seems to indicate they shouldn't affect the pH balance of the vagina that much. BUT if you're treating the infection at the time of ovulation, the medication could affect your vaginal mucus making it hostile to sperm. And there's always the possibility that having the infection makes you feel uncomfortable and so puts you off having intercourse at that time.
When you get an infection, make sure both you and your partner are treated, otherwise you'll just keep re-infecting each other.

Didnt you just have your routine PAP.

I use to get Yeast Infections after my Paps. ??? Just a thought ;)

Hi Tink! I don't think you have thrush, i think you're just noticing you CM more now that you're TTC! Everyone gets different types of CM at different times, even if you never really got it before! Your body is constantly changing, so sometimes you're going to get way more CM than before and sometimes hardly any or none at all! ..Trust me, you'd know if it was thrush.. it would be itchy and sore and very uncomfortable! But you know what.. to confuse matters even more.. alot of women get thrush when they're pregnant! Damn those hormones!

I've had thrush a few times...but one time, I was never itchy, I only found out I had it afte having a smear. Infact the couple of times I have had it, I've never been itchy....everyone is different me thinks!!!!

But yeh.....damn those hormones!!!!hehe

creamy white CM means you're approaching testing time....which is exactly what your ticker says. Just go by that...wait a few days and test...and if it's BFN, just gear up for next cycle. You should start using OPKs around CD10

How long have you been keeping track of CM in your cycles? If you have trouble finding the EWCM (in your panties) that will indicate fertility, you may have to check CM at the source.

This might not be a bad idea to do anyway for a couple reasons.

1. If you are checking for EWCM at the 'exit' it takes some time for the CM to migrate down from the cervix to your panties and along the way it might become less EW if the extra fluid is absorbed by your vagina. And if you have a short fertility window you might be timing intercourse a little 'off'.

2. While you're 'up there' you can make a quick note of a secondary fertility indicator - Cervical Position. This cross check is helpful in helping to determine fertile window, but remember it should NEVER be used as a primary indicator.

Good luck to you!

:hugs:
