do you know those moments when you don't know whether to laugh or cry?

Our car went in for it's service & MOT today (totally forgot it was due until yesterday morning).

Wait for it.

£800.

I feel sick.

We're going on honeymoon on Sunday so this week we have literally spent hundreds already, foreign money, suncreams etc all the stuff you need for holidays. And then this.

Dont really know what I want anyone to say Im just devastated and I don't want to make a big deal of it to DH because he's panicking himself. We're meant to be looking at a new house tomorrow and the money we've spent on the car should have been our deposit.

I cant believe it.

Can you try another garage? I've had my old cars in and had quotes like that but then found they were trying to rip me off? x

Well we need the car tomorrow as we're driving to Newcastle to fly from for our holiday else we would have done. Also DH told them to start the work before he knew how much it was going to cost. It's a garage he & his family have been going to for years so usually are quite good.

We've learnt our lesson anyway. Just a major pain in the arse.
