Oh, and random but I had an pre-natal appointment today and everything is great!
I had to get the strep test which I wasn't exactly expecting so that was a bit of a shock! But that was simple and didn't hurt or anything like that. Then I had an ultrasound, which was surprising too because my last one was supposed to be at 32 weeks but I guess the doctor just wanted to check how things were because he hadn't done an ultra sound with me yet. (I alternate between 2 OB's.) Everything's great still. LO is still head down, thank God. She's on her left side right now and doctor says that's good, that she's slowly rotating for labor. Amniotic fluid is good. The placenta is high, which is good. I've now got weekly appointments for 37, 38, 39, 40 and 41 if necessary but they don't expect that to happen. Actually, when I hit 38 weeks, at my 38 week appointment on November 1st, they are going to start stretching my cervix manually to try and start labor. I had no idea they even did that. Sounds a little painful but starting to get excited! So that's what's new!
