OH Present

Hi,

Are you gettin the OH a present? I think I'd like to buy something for him but obvoulsy money is going to be tight?
+ baby due in early Dec so xmas is right around the corner
Has anyone done this already?

No... I'm expecting a present from him! I've seen a beautiful necklace on Etsy that is a silver birds nest with two doves and a pearl egg in the middle... I've hinted lots. its not that expensive but I like the symbolism.
When I was born my Dad got my Mum a gold necklace and the matching bracelet when my brother was born.

I might get him and baby matching t shirts for Christmas... or a little babygrow with 'I love Daddy' on it. I've given him a child.... so I reckon thats enough!

I don;t think Id like to put that added pressure on himhe's already trying to get us out of a flat and inot a house ...set up a business... work monday to sat and (play golf) ha ha he als manages that one ..
Figured it's be nice to break the mould...

I would like to get me OH something, but i really dont know what, the only things i see are really tacky 'souvenier' time items, and i dont want anything like that. If i see something he will like that has a reference to our baby/birth/pregnancy/family etc then i will get him something. I know people get their OH's clothes or something, i dont see any point in that personally...Just my opinion.

Im only going to get something that has a meaning behind it if i see anything.

Id love to get him something that had meaingin I as thinking a nice pair of cuflinks with the baby name and dOB on them?
He's a soldier though and the softes person Ive ever met so I dunno if that appeals to him...

that sounds like a lovely idea to me

i didnt get OH anything when DD was born so i'm not going to this time.
(come to think of it, i dont remember him getting me much, just a balloon thats it, which i asked for lol)

i have got DD a present from lo and lo a present from DD xxx
