I think it's fairly normal for a guy to be concerned about having a girl, because he doesn't understand girls like he understand boys. He was a boy, and therefore he assumes he knows how that boy's mind will work and if he has a girl, he may be worried he won't know what to do or what to expect. My husband has always said "we're having a boy", even though we don't know the gender of our baby yet. But I know he would be a wonderful father to a little girl. It's all about practise. He must think I know exactly what to do with a little boy, but I'm just realistic. No new parent knows what they're doing
