My husband really likes it for a girl but im not sure at all. It means goddess of storms but I personally think its a bit of a 'dark' name iykwim! and I like pretty names.

Maybe it will grow on me.

Would it go with my other childrens names? India, Heavenly and Meadow?

Personally i don't care for meanings at all as you really don't know what personality your baby will have anyway. If you like the name go for it if not then don't.

Tempest? Personally i don't like it & can't see it mixing with the other names you have with are much more girly, feminine & pretty . x

I like it! I like strong names for girls. I csn't imagine a Tempest being a wallflower!

I was trying to think if I could think of any famous tempests: the only one I came up with was the actress who played the older girl in the Cosby Show. Wasn't she called Tempest (or Tempestt!!) Bledsoe, or something like that.

Sneaking off now as I may have just revealed how old I am!!

I am also not a fan, it seems like an invitation for teasing and the word pest at the end will likely be picked up on by other children who will use it to wind her up.
