ok im confused

i just received my appointment for my genetics clinic..
it says im attending the clinical genetics but above that it says..

an appointment has been made for you to attaned the familial cancer clinic.

wtf are they trying 2 tell me summat. im only going to disscuss my option and how 2 help me out with a normal pregnancy!!
im seriously confused. its with the person they said it would be with but why am i going to the cancer clinic! i dont have cancer.. well i hope i dont!

i googled it. familial means heraditory. family related. so yes i guess i fall in to that but y the cancer clinic? fancy writing that on my paper.. its scary!!

It might just be the name of the department you've to go to. When I got my appointment through for my NHS infertility appointment, it said GYNAE 1 on it and not Infertility, so I phoned to check I was going to the right place.

Phone again on Monday to check that you've been referred to the right place...
