oh how i LOVE that 26 people have read this and zero have commented. about to give up on this damn page it happens to me every time i dont know why i bother i always end up ignored. u go some where for support with 3 days left till ur due date and you get a whole fat load of nothing.

Don't know if it's recommended, didn't want to read and run, but when my sister was overdue she used her breast pump? I guess that would stimulate the nipples?

thanks everyone!! ive dont the nipple thing and it seems to be making things work but when i stop it all goes away lol!!!!! ive got 2 days left untill the doc says he'll induce me so i guess ill have to wait two days lol!!

i honestly didnt know that people could read this page without being members, maybe thats why no one comments on my threads. thanks for the heads up lol now i feel like an idiot *smacks forehead* lol

because its getting close to christmas and my partner is the boss at work so he needd to take his two weeks off sooner rather than later and because its getting very hot over here and i dont want to be heavily pregnant in this heat. plus there is nothing wrong with being induced. my due date is today so ill be past my due date and if she is happy and healthy i dont see a problem with inducing her

If you stimulate your nipples it means that you express milk from each side for around 20 minutes each but you need to do it for several hours; breast pumps can help. The contractions can be very intense but if you keep going it should have some effect - it releases oxytocin into your system which is the same drug that is used to induce women who require a drip, only the synthetic version is called syntocinon. When the contractions hurt, which they will, you must not stop stimulation. Very best of luck xx
