ok so onsies for children are fine but....

Does it matter? :haha:

They're bloody comfy..

Except for the fact I haven't found one long enough for me yet :brat:

xxx

Well no it doesn't really.... it's just interesting!:flower:

I don't mean to sound rude- so apologises in advance if I do.

But why does anyone do anything? Buy anything? I'm sure there are things you buy/wear that I and others on here wouldn't.

We all like different things!! :)

I find them odd to be honest. All my friends wear them and I always make fun of them! My husband said he would find it strange of I wore one to bed! Personally, I think they look stupid but I dont care If others wanna wear them, like I said, all my friends do and I make fun and they tell me I need to get one haha.

A onesie is the best thing I have ever owned :) I have 2 now and hoping for a new one for Christmas. No they aren't attractive but who gives a damn it's comfort I'm after. My oh just sees them as pyjamas so doesnt even comment on what they look like.
I've never met anyone who had bought a onesie and hasn't liked it :)

Sorry!! I didn't mean that to sound rude or offish! It's the way I speak :haha: it was meant jokey!

Eek, I'm so sorry! :hugs:

What yall call onsies must be what we call "feet pajamas" lol
Onsies down here refer to a leotard-like shirt that snaps around the baby's bum. Yes, they make such shirts for women, and they seem awfully difficult to use the restroom in public!!!!!!!

Feet pajamas are for babies and adults, something similar to "long johns" or comfy one-piece pjs, we also called them blanket pajamas when they are fleece.
Ones for kids zip and have feet, adult ones usually button and come with or without feet, some have "butt flaps" for using the restroom but I usually just drop the top down. I like for my feet to be colder than the rest of me, so I like the foot-less kind, even though I still refer to them by what we called them as kids - "feet pajamas"
Sometimes I wear a thin tank top under them so when I drop them to pee, my top doesn't freeze, sometimes I just suck it up - the seat's gonna be cold anyway. LoL

My men (ex hubby and new fiancé both) have always found them funny-looking, or cute in a funky way, so I guess that's almost as good as sexy. Certainly not any worse than sweatpants and baggy tops!!

I love my onesie! Our sexual relationship isn't that rampant as it is so wouldn't say it affects it too much - have been plenty of times I've taken it off to DTD :haha:

Peeing does suck in it, especially as obviously when I'm wearing it it's really cold weather. Wish there was a bum flap, I'd be set!

Different strokes for different folks. They are super comfy though and eliminate the need for a blanket if you're chilling on the couch, which is nice.

Before the adult ones we always called the kids ones sleep suits. I think they're class and always used to wish they made them for grown ups. Having said that haven't purchased one yet. x

The bit in bold made me LOL rather a lot, though I think similar things were fashionable in the late 80's ... hahaha

The fact that you see your friends wearing them THAT to me is weird...
Nobody but my OH and our baby and the pets see what I wear as pajamas... and while I have no problem (personally) leaving the house in flannel pants and a tshirt or tank top to go grab milk on Sunday morning for breakfast... I would NOT leave the house wearing a onesie. LOL Nor would I wear them while company was over.

Lol! Well my friends don't care! When we have takeaway nights they always wear them! If I go to theirs in the morning they t quite often in them hahaa. U find it very very odd, but u know, each to thier own and all that haha

Obviously I don't really care what people wear but I think they are gross tbh, although I have never been one who loves lazing clothes/pyjamas anyway as it makes me feel so slobby! It also reminds me of the very annoying period in which every hippy student in Bristol spent about 80% of their lives in an animal suit onesie.
