anybody else feel like they dont get any omega 3/DHA?
i dont eat oily fish or walnuts and i really cant seem to find any more foods that have it in!
it makes me feel bad and like i should be having it but i dont know how

You could take supplements? I've tried before though and just cannot keep them down. :-(

Try supplements! Omega 3 is so good for u and Baby and it's great for brain development.

I know over here we get them in chewables- I hate swallowing tablets with a passion- I also take my calcium and d3 in chewables. Unfortunately my prenatal and iron don't come in chewables so gotta cringe everytime I take those two lol

im not brilliant with my prenatals but i suppose its only for another 21 or so weeks i can do it! is there a specific pregnancy omega 3 you have to take or can it just be a standard?

Asda prenatal own brand have a separate DHA tablet in them. They are £4 for a month supply. Xx

There is no specific Omega 3 for pregnancy that I know off so the standard should be fine: Try find one that contains dha and epa in it as well, usually the fish oil supplements have the right stuff!

I take supplements. I have done with my first two children and really believe this is what protected DD2 brain development when she was born with complications. I actually need to buy some for this pregnancy too as I had some given to me which I admit I ended up taking a lot later than I would have liked. I just didn't get to order them like now so I better do it soon! I get the MOR-DHA omega3 prenatals. My family are a bunch of pharmacists and these particular are the purest of omega3 they could find. They are expensive though. I order them online.

I'm not too big on dha pills as they often get stuck and leave me queezy. I eat canned sardines (in a spicy tomatosauce) a couple of times a week. There is Omega 3 eggs as well where chickens get supplements... I make my own canned tuna & salmon salad regularly with homemade mayo, eggs, herbs,...mmmmmhh I love it. I know not to eat too much tuna, but I do love it!! We can ingest so many different nutrients where we are & since my prenatals ran out, I'm just down to one supplement now called Bio-strath (more fr flavour than anything. It's a sirop) & don't take dha/omega stuff.
