Was at playgroup, and before I strapped her in to a bouncer a woman distracted me and forgot to strap her in - next thing I hear a noise and she's fallen out onto the floor!!!

I feel soooooooo bad - was in front of loads of people - fell like such a bad mum!!

I hope shes ok - had a lot of cry and her nose and forehead are quite red - she is asleep now, her usual nap. Is there anything I can do for her?

To top it all, my toddler is being a nightmare today - uber whiney, esp at playgroup, he is now in bed!

Nothing like this has never happened ever before, even with my son - I just feel like crying I feel so awful!!

Dont feel guilty accidents happen, I once left my daughter on the bed and she rolled and fell off, these things happen.

Just make sure she her usual self when she wakes up if you are concerned see or ring doc etc,

Dont worry it doest make you a bad mum maybe a normal one !!

Oh honey, I know you feel awful but accidents do happen. :hugs: My LO fell off the bed too, and one night I had out him in his carrycot on a footstool in the lounge, next thing I know the whole blooming thing slid off onto the floor and he rolled out! Still no idea how it happened, but from then on the carrycot was not allowed anywhere but on the floor. I was in a right state but I think he wondered what all the fuss was about.

Accidents happen hun don't beat yourself up about it. I dropped my DD when she was 6 months old.. Their alot more resilient than they look. Just keep an eye on her :hugs:

I'm so surprised I haven't had an incident yet, I'm so clumsy.

Blame the lady who distracted you teehee :haha:

Don't worry, thngs like this happen all the time :hugs:

try not to worry about it.

We put Leo in his bouncer chair a few weeks ago and i must not of clipped him in properly. we were busy sorting the fish tank out, i came back in from the kitchen and he wasnt in his chair!!! he'd fallen out and was face down on the rug!! we have laminate flooring so at least he was cushioned. he didnt moan or anything so god knows if he had only just fallen  I gave him lots and lots and cuddles and kisses and im sure within a minute or 2 he forgot all about it :dohh:

dont worry all will be fine my lo had his first bump today as well and i wasnt even there lol

my mum has him and her and my 16 year old sister took him for walk to shops came back sister unclipped straps then realised buggy would tip up if she didnt move shopping so she took bags off back then turned round to put them on bench mean while my little monster took himself out of buggy onto my mums tiles kitchen floor and has a right bruise on his cheek

It is awful when these things happen and we are so hard on ourselves but they are accidents which sometimes happen.

Charlie did a forward somersault off the bottom of our bed from a semi standing position last wk. Landed flat on his back but you know he hardly cried!!! I was panicy for quite a while after, thought i was gonna be sick cause i was right next to him.

On monday i was putting the shopping away and my eldest was in front room with Charlie. george came into kitchen to ask me a question and i said is the gate shut?
THUD.
Charlie had climbed 2 stairs and turned and fell face first onto the ceramic tiled floor.

Spent 3 hrs in A&E. Big egg on head but fortunately no concusion. Frightened the life out of me.
It was just an accident......
