Omg - excited!!!

I went to see my GP today and he has agreed to refer my partner and I for IUI - OMG!!! The waiting list is 9 months - 1 year, so this time next year I could be pregnant hehe!!! I'm so excited. The GP was really nice to me, and has given me a leaflet on the best ways to get pregnant.

Oh wow! Congratulations! Thats so exciting! I'm glad your gp was nice and understanding, my friend and her partner had a nightmare with several docs before they got one who wasn't an arse. I hope it goes well for you both xxx

thanks everyone,
the leaflet is a basic pregnancy and pre-pregnancy one. about weight loss being helpful for TTC, you can start folic acid up to a year before you start TTC, the right sorts of food to eat before pregnancy and after. it's interesting and so sweet of my GP. he said if we need any other help just to contact him!!!
army wife - i think we were lucky, it could have totally gone the other way too!!!
