Expelling a one year old!? Thats crazy!! I'm going through quite a bad stage with Kyle hitting so i'm trying the firm "No" then puting him down and looking away. So as to not give him the attention he might be seeking. It seems to be going okay so far! I wouldnt bite her back, in my opinion thats only saying "if you do it. i'll do it" Its not teaching that its wrong to bite.

Thats ludacris. I cant beleive i have just read that thy have 'expelled' her.

She's a 1 year old child, yes she possibly is old enough to know better but this should have been fed back to you when it first started and together ou could have tried to stamp it out. I think its disgusting. Hiting and biting is going to happen in EVERY nursery. Although if she's doing this to 'all' the children what the hell are the staff doing at the time when its going on.
