On Clomid cd 17 ( can u ladies tell me if this is +OPK)

Dear BnB ladies,

I just wrote a thread yday as I was getting -ve OPK for last 4 days....and today just got a very faint line in the OPK... cud u ladies pls tell me if this is a +OPK ??? today is cd17 for me and am on Clomid 50gms which I took from cd 2-6 days....last 5 days I have been testing for OPKs but first 2 days I didnt get a line at all and yday and the day before it was very very faint and the instructions said we have to take the faint lines as NEGATIVE coz it looked more like the evapourated line...

...Now today when I took the test it looks a bit OK to me though not as bright as the control line..still can I assume that I wud Ovoulate within next 24 hrs??

Hey Faith to have a positive opk the test line has to be as dark or darker than the control line. It is close to positive. Keep testing. Are you testing twice a day? And what time of day are you testing?

Dear Reedsgirl..am testing just once a day and its usually between 10 -11 in the mornings....so do u think this is still -ve?? actually in the last 5 tests that I have done in last 5 days..this looks better..coz the others has NO line what so ever so shd I take one more test tomm..jus to chk if its getting stronger???

I have been ttc for a year and have been using opks pretty much the whole time if you google how to use opks as they do not really come with clear instructions...I have found that the best time to test is between 2pm and 8pm. Also alot of woman(including me) test twice a day. I test around 2 pm and then again about 8 or so. The surge can be easily missed and with being on clomid it messes with your body a bit. I was on it for 7 cycles. Try not to drink too much before testing as you will dilute your wee. LOL. Also do not use FMU as we carry lh in our system and it takes about 4 hours in the morning to get out of our system so we do not get a false positive. I hope this helps you.

And yes I would test again..but I would tonight depending where your at. Some woman never get a strong positive on opks but still O. Do you do your temps? I do not so I am not much help there but I will give you as much as I can.

I had the same thing happen to me last month. Keep testing but it looks like you'll be ov soon. The line will be darker than the other one!! Good luck!

yea I shall test again tinight before 8 pm and see if the line gets darker..BTW we just had our BD today morning..so if I am goin to ask my DH for once more tonight or tomm morning hes gonna not like it LOL....coz we have been BDing every other day for the last one week...

yes I would test in the evening too - usually between 6-8pm cos the hormone is higher then i think - the morning isnt a good time to test - try again this eve
