Me too. I felt so sorry for him. He never got to see his baby being born. Bless him.

I don't know why I watch this programme because every time it makes me want another baby, but mean OH won't let me

I cried on both babies being born. That women annyed me though with all her screaming and I felt sooo sorry for her midwife. I would have been pulling my hair out.

I can't believe the last girl the 18 yr old took her mum and not OH, I really felt for him. I think it really was unfair

Tbf tho, you need to take who you think will support you the most. I think id of took my mum too.

I watched the last season too and dont remember any other then on their back.

Even with the other girl she asked if it was ok to rock. There doesnt seem to be any encouragement to try different things.

The screamer was writhing around on the bed so much i just wanted to shout at her GET UP!! lol

I did shout at the tv kala! In the Christmas show there was a spot looking at a delivery room where the mw or whoever talked about the low bed to encourage active birthing and a birthing ball yet every birth seems to be on a high delivery bed.

Now you mention it i dont think ive seen a birthing ball on there either. In my hospital there in every labour room.

thanks girls and just to clear up why ralph didnt go in.

Me and my son both nearly lost our lives and in the heat of the moment at the age of 18 (or any age) you'd choose your mum over your boyfriend (who is a teenager) and ralph would have passed out if he went in there...he is very squeamish lol!

That confused me. When she first started pushing she was still shouting a bit but suddenly was all ok.
